Which I(2) Drive account is right for me? |
| A: |
If you are a business or educational institution
we recommend any of the corporate accounts. This gives you the ability
to create multiple user accounts giving each of your employees, staffs,
students, or clients a separate account. You can also assign the
accounts for backup servers, as a shared work area for multiple machines,
or shared workgroups or as a public server for some of your clients.
You do have the administrative control over these accounts.
If you are a home user or home office user looking for a secure way
to store and share your personal files, backup important files, and
be able to work on you files from any location then I(2) Drive Personal
account or I(2) Drive Personal with WebDAV account is the right account
for you. I(2) Drive WebDAV server allow you to also map a drive as
in the case of Windows or mount a drive as in the case of Mac and
Linux operating systems. With WebDAV you can also edit files remotely. |

| A: |
Yes, you may Podcast any file by simply creating
a direct link to your file. Usually MP3 files are Podcast and can
be viewed by your clients with a Podcast read such as iTunes. After
creating the direct link give your clients the Podcast URL.
Here is a tip for advance users that want to Podcast multiple files
stored.
- Create direct links to all the files that you want to be included
in your Podcast and make a note of each files URL.
- Open one of the Podcast XML output and save it on your computer.
- Edit that XML file and for each one of the direct links you
created add an enclosure section in that EXL file.
- Finally upload that XML file into your I(2) Drive and create
a direct link to that file (use the open file option). Then you
can provide that link to your clients to subscribe to your Podcast.
